The Obama administration wants Israel to stop all construction in the West Bank as a precondition to resuming peace talks with the Palestinians. That’s partly why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been meeting with world leaders this week. All of this, according to some predictors, comes ahead of a new Middle East peace plan that could be unveiled by President Obama as early as next month.
