First Lady’s Africa Trip

The World

The Geo Quiz takes us along with Michelle Obama as she tours two sub-Saharan countries — South Africa and Botswana. The First Lady arrived in Johannesburg last night. Later this week, she’ll go to the capital of Botswana. That’s the city we’re looking for.

It’s just ten miles or so from the South African border. And it’s home to a game reserve, with impala, ostriches, wildebeest, and zebras. That sounds just right for a First Family photo-snapping safari.

The answer is Gaborone, Botswana.

Anchor Lisa Mullins speaks with radio reporter Nastasya Tay, who is at the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg, where Michelle Obama and her daughters were on Tuesday.
