Beijing building gets facelift

In Beijing, an iconic new building designed by architect Rem Koolhaas was much touted by Chinese officials in the lead up to the 2008 Olympics. The building suffered major fire damage last year, and now it’s under reconstruction. The World’s Mary Kay Magistad reports that this time, no one involved with the project wants to talk about it.
