Russia and China Veto UN Resolution on Syria

The World

Russia and China have vetoed a United Nations resolution on Syria for the third time.

It would have imposed more sanctions on the Syrian government, if it didn’t pull its troops out of populated areas.

Host Marco Werman talks with an activist in the Syrian capital Damascus, who calls himself Tareq.

He hopes the end to the Assad regime, and the fighting, is near.
