In media blitz, Obama becomes first sitting president to talk to Jon Stewart

The World

President Obama is doing a big media push this week in the lead up to the midterm elections. Last night, he became the first sitting president to appear on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” looking to motivate young people who turned out in droves to vote for him in 2008 to vote again this year.

The president has also spoke with Philadelphia-based radio talk show host Michael Smerconish’s program, as well as to Univision’s Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo and Al Sharpton’s American Urban Radio Network show.
