The World

Yesterday Senator John McCain spoke at his old high school, Episcopal high in Alexandria, Virginia. He spoke about his days as a scrappy, feisty navy brat who played football and wrestled. His yearbook from those days pictures him in a trench coat with the collar up, and a dangling cigarette. His nicknames? Punk and McNasty. We got our hands on an anonymous notebook that we believe was John McCain’s journal of thoughts and feelings from 1951, and we’ll share some excerpts.
