It’s Israel’s first commuter light rail and it was designed to give Jerusalem’s public transportation a much needed upgrade. But it charges right through the city’s sensitive geopolitics – and it’s upsetting locals for all kinds of reasons.

Israeli and Palestinian leaders hold further talks in Jerusalem, after discussing core issues behind the conflict at meetings in Egypt. Negotiations began in Washington two weeks ago, after a 20-month gap. Lisa Mullins gets an update from Matthew Bell.

Two thousand years ago, the second temple in Jerusalem was destroyed. Now some Jews in Israel today say it’s time to rebuild the temple. Problem is� they want to rebuild it on the location of Islam’s holiest site in Jerusalem. Linda Gradstein reports.

The postal service in Jerusalem often gets letters addressed to God. Reporter Daniel Estrin visits with the man charged with opening that kind of mail and sneaks a peek at some of the letters.

Israel’s prime minister has raised the possibility of dividing Jerusalem into two capitals… one Israeli, one Palestinian. It’s something that’s long been a taboo issue in Israel. But many Palestinians living in Jerusalem aren’t too crazy about the idea either. Correspondent Matt Gutman reports.
