Walmart Wins, female workers lose in Supreme Court case

A massive sex discrimination case filed against Walmart has been thrown out in a unanimous decision by the Supreme Court. The court found that the women who alleged discrimination were not part of a class, so could not sue as one entity, and would be forced to take up the case individually against the retail giant.
One former Wal-Mart employee (and plaintiff in the case), Stephanie Odle, tells The Takeaway that she is going to keep fighting. And Howard Erichson, professor of law at Fordham Law School, talks about the legal merit of the case.
