Secretary of State Nomination Could Bring Another Senate Race for Massachusetts

The Takeaway

With Senator John Kerry on his way to head up the State Department following a nomination by President Obama, the race is on in Massachusetts to fill the senate seat that he may leave open. The likely front runner: Senator Scott  Brown, who just lost his seat to Senator-elect Elizabeth Warren, in the country’s most expensive Senate race. Who will take Brown on this time? And will this race be as expensive as the last one?
Journalist David Bernstein, political writer for the Boston Phoenix, discusses the possibilities.
