The U.S. Preventative Services Task Force, an independent group under the Department of Health and Human Services, published new guidelines suggesting that just about everyone between the ages of 15 to 64 should be tested for HIV. if this proposal is adopted, it would also mean that Medicare and most private health care insurers would be required to pay for those screenings.
