Fast Eddie and an Old Crime Scene in England

The World

We visit a crime scene for the Geo Quiz.

19-years-ago, British newspapers screamed headlines about a heist.

The driver of an armored truck had made off with its contents, a million pounds, or about $1.5 million.

The alleged robber — nicknamed Fast Eddie — vanished along with his wife and son.

The trail went cold — until now.

Can you name the town on the North Sea coast of England where the heist took place?

The answer is Felixstowe.

Fast Eddie was found far away from England in Missouri and it was his daughter-in-law who tipped off the authorities. The World’s Rob Hugh Jones has the story.
