Weavers of the Western Isles

In fact this is the only place in the world where genuine “Harris Tweed” is made -it’s dyed, spun, hand-woven and quality checked on these islands.
They’re called the Outer Hebrides.
If the label in your scarf or sweater says pure wool Harris Tweed, then the cloth has been hand-woven on these islands.
Reporter Dany Mitzman paid a visit. She met two weavers from different generations, but who share a passion for the islands, the traditions, and the cloth itself.
