Voices from the streets of Cairo

The World

A demonstrator who gave his name as Ibrahim called The World's Matthew Bell Friday morning to talk about what he was seeing in Cairo's Tahrir Square. He said he was afraid to go to the square Thursday, with all the violence of the past two days. But Friday, Ibrahim said the atmosphere was very different. Due to the challenges of reporting in Cairo, The World's Rob Hugh Jones conducted the interview with Ibrahim. (Photo: Al Jazeera English) The Egypt protests on The World
