The World

There are close to 50 million Americans without health insurance – and millions more who are underinsured or can’t afford their deductibles. The health care crisis is bad enough in some parts of rural America that a relief organization called Remote Area Medical, created to provide free health care to poor people in the developing world, is today doing the bulk of its work within our borders. Stan Brock is the founder of Remote Area Medical, or RAM, and he speaks with Faith Salie on Fair Game.
