Protests leave several dead in Syria

Protesters in Syria are demanding an end the authoritarian rule of President Bashar Assad. Sunday, clashes between security forces and demonstrators in the city of Homs left at least seven people dead. Monday, thousands attended the funerals of some of the victims.
