The World

Patricia Riggen was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. She worked as a journalist for Mexican newspapers, and later moved to New York City and made an award-winning documentary called Family Portrait, about poverty in Harlem. Now she has tackled her first feature-length fictional film – about the very real issues of Mexican immigrants struggling in the US. It’s called La Misma Luna, or Under the Same Moon. Faith Salie welcomes filmmaker Patricia Riggen to Fair Game.
