Danish and Czech scientists are working to solve a centuries-old mystery. It involves the 16th century astronomer Tycho Brahe. He was famous for his observation of stars in the days before telescopes were invented. The mystery is about his death.
One legend suggests Tycho Brahe died after his bladder burst during a banquet but some historians believe the astronomer was intentionally poisoned.
In any case, the centuries-old trail has gone cold. And a team of scientists and archaeologists dug up Tycho Brahe’s bones this week to search for clues.
