Mexico: 5 bodies wrapped in white sheets found in Coahuila

GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Five bodies wrapped in white sheets were found in northern Mexico on Friday, Mexican newspaper Milenio reported.
Three of the bodies were hanging from a bridge in the city of Saltillo in Coahuila state. The other two bodies were on the ground.
Police suspect they were victims of a gang-related murder, Reuters reported.
Elsewhere in northern Mexico, police arrested 21 people in Durango state in connection with dozens of killings and kidnappings, the Associated Press reported.
The group – which the AP said acted as an enforcement wing for the Sinaloa drug cartel headed by Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman – has been accused of kidnapping and murdering a Durango politician in February.
They have also been accused of kidnapping five employees of El Siglo de Torreon, a newspaper in the neighboring state of Coahuila, in February. The victims were later released.
El Siglo has been attacked periodically since 2009.
