Hillary Clinton exasperated by Republican senator during Benghazi hearing (VIDEO)

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was visibly aggravated by Republican criticisms of her department's response to a deadly September attack on a US diplomatic facility in Libya's Benghazi during questioning before Congress today.

Clinton today once again took responsibility for poor management of security alerts leading up to the incident, which resulted in the death of the US ambassador and three others on September 11, 2012. But she told lawmakers that she was not entirely to blame, citing a number of administration failures and a lack of information.

Questioning continued, with Republican lawmakers going on to allege willful deception on the part of the White House.

The Secretary responded angrily to the accusations, made by Republican senator Ron Johnson, observed Buzzfeed, citing a frustrated Clinton as saying:

"With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or because of guys out for a walk one night and decided to go kill some Americans? At this point what difference does it make senator?"
