Adele has done it again.

The British singer-songwriter is Billboard’s No. 1 artist of 2012 and her diamond “21” album released in February 2011 is the top album of the year.

She won both prizes last year.

Billboard said “21” is the first album to go “back-to-back as the No. 1 Billboard 200 album” since Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in 1983 and 1984.

And the soulful crooner is the first singer to be the top artist two-years running since Destiny’s Child in 2000 and 2001.

The top three songs of the year were Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" and fun.'s "We Are Young," respectively, the Associated Press reported.

It has been a momentous year for Adele.

“21” – Adele’s second album – earned her six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

Inquisitr noted that “21” has been certified 16 times platinum in the UK and sat in the top spot on the UK and US charts longer than any album since 1985.

Adele also won awards for album of the year and best British female solo artist at the Brit music awards.

In October, she gave birth to a boy.

Adele has also won critical acclaim for her performance of the theme song for the latest James Bond flick “Skyfall.”

Not a bad year for someone who is only 24.
