A gunman opened fire in a beauty salon in central Florida on Thursday, killing three women and wounding a fourth.

The Associated Press reported that he left the salon and then killed himself at a nearby house.

Police spokeswoman Sara Brady said the gunman entered Las Dominicanas M & M Salon shortly after 11 a.m.

According to a local NBC News affiliate, a relative said one of the victims who was killed at the salon was pregnant.

The identity of the gunman and the victims has not been released yet.

Authorities said they believe the shooting was a domestic-related incident, according to The Orlando Sentinel. The woman who was wounded has been taken to an area hospital, and her condition is unknown.

"Two distraught women, who said they are relatives of the gunman, said he wanted to be romantically involved with one of the women who worked at the salon," reported The Orlando Sentinel.

A woman, identified as the cousin of the alleged shooter, told the Orlando Sentinel, "My cousin, he's been having problems. He's mentally not there. We've been telling her dad, just keep away from him, keep away from him. Get a restraining order."

Seminole County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Heather Smith said the gunman reportedly went to a friend's house, about seven miles from the salon, and shot himself, according to the AP.
