In a recent interview with the Guardian, Music legend Stevie Wonder praised fellow musician Frank Ocean. When asked about the hoopla surrounding Ocean's coming out as gay (or possibly bi), Wonder said, "I think honestly, some people who think they're gay, they're confused."

"People can misconstrue closeness for love. People can feel connected, they bond. I'm not saying all [gay people are confused]. Some people have a desire to be with the same sex. But that's them," he continued.

Wonder said, "Yeah, I like Frank." Ocean's Channel Orange has drawn comparison's to Wonder's own music, noted the Guardian.

In July, Ocean, whose debut album released just two months ago, wrote on his blog: "4 summer ago, I met somebody. I was 19 years old. He was too. We spent that summer, and the summer after, together. Everyday almost… Sleep I would often share with him. By the time I realized I was in love, it was malignant. It was hopeless. There was no escaping," according to The Huffington Post.

His candid confession led to everyone in the music world expressing an opinion on the matter, MTV noted. Channel Orange, which debuted at no. 2 on the Billboard charts and sold 131,000 copies in its first week, has only gained from the publicity.
