Syrian rebel sings Backstreet Boys

If ever there was a band to inspire a revolution, the Backstreet Boys are not it.

Yet at least one Syrian rebel has embraced the boy band, and in particular its seminal 1999 mega-hit, "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely."

Perhaps lyrics like these struck a chord:
