The son of Woody Allen has used Twitter and Father's Day to deliver a very public blow to his famous dad.
"Happy father's day— or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law's day," Ronan Farrow tweeted Sunday.
"Ronan Farrow certainly didn't forget dad Woody Allen on Father's Day, despite their reported decades-long estrangement," the LA Times wrote.

The 24-year-old's mother, actress Mia Farrow, retweeted the message adding "Boom."
The Hollywood Reporter explains that Ronan severed links with Allen around 1992 when news broke that Allen was involved with 21-year-old Soon-Yi Previn, the adopted daughter of his then-girlfriend Mia Farrow. The website says it was "the biggest tabloid scandal of his career."
Washington Post says the Tweet is "saucy stuff,"adding that as a "State Department aide turned Rhodes Scholar," Ronan Farrow usually tweets about Egyptian elections and third-world health.
