Tomas Tranströmer wins Nobel Prize for literature

The Swedish Academy has awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature to 80 year old Swedish poet Tomas Tranströmer. “Through his condensed, translucent images, he gives us fresh access to reality,” the Academy said in a statement.
