Nick Vujicic, a man born without any arms or legs, has become an inspiration to others and a global celebrity. He has written books on how to live life despite great difficulties and has become an inspirational speaker.

His messages have resonated with people around the world, and his Facebook page has close to 150,000 fans. His supporters leave messages in various languages, all day long. A recent one reads: "You're Simply Awesome! I saw u today on TVN this morning! you're vision of life and your words! It's all we need! 😀 Big hug !"

Vujicic, 28, was born in 1982 in Brisbane, Australia, without any limbs, according to his website, Life Without Limbs. Doctors had no explanation for his deformity, and his birth was considered a tragedy, a profile of him in the Orange County Register states. He spent his childhood not only being bullied and teased but also facing depression and loneliness.

"He constantly questioned why he was different than all the other kids surrounding him; why he was the one born without arms and legs. He wondered what the purpose behind his life was, or if he even had a purpose," his website reads.

According to his website, Vujicic used his faith in god and support from family and friends to overcome his struggles. He became an inspirational speaker by 19 and used his story to help others overcome personal challenges.

The young man is a best-selling author, world traveled motivational speaker and president of an international non-profit organization, Life Without Limbs, and also has his own motivational speaking company, Attitude Is Altitude, according to a press release.
