A 16-year-old boy is dead and three others are hospitalized after a large fight broke out following a George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic concert in Cleveland on Saturday night. Clinton and his funk band were the headline act for the "Family Unity in the Park" festival, a free, one-day event on the city’s east side designed to strengthen the local community.

During the fight, an unidentified man pulled out a handgun and shot the 16 year old in the head, a 20-year-old woman in the neck, and a 14-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man in their legs. All four were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where the 16-year-old boy died on Sunday morning, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. The woman was in critical condition, and the two other wounded were stable, according to a spokeswoman at Cleveland's Emergency Medical Services.

The Cleveland police do not have a description of the shooter and have asked the public to come forward with leads. It was not immediately known what had set off the fighting, police Sgt. Sammy Morris told the Associated Press.

This is the 8th year Cleveland has hosted the "Family Unity" festival, which features music from local and national acts and information booths set up by community organizations. The event draws thousands from across Northeast Ohio, according to Cleveland Councilman Zack Reed’s office, local Fox News affiliate Fox 8 reports. The councilman’s office had promoted the event as “a safe, family-friendly environment [that] showcases all the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood has to offer."
