[waitingforcorrection: no audio attached, invalid GUID] Tornadoes, like those responsible for the deaths of over 300 people in the South just recently, are by and large considered “acts of god.”   That is unforeseeable tragedies that inevitably leave death and destruction in their wake. But does this have to be the case? In this segment, we speak with Walker Ashley,  Associate Professor in the Meteorology Program at Northern Illionois University’s Geography. In 2008, Ashley  found that 48 percent of tornado related deaths occur in mobile homes. Are tornado deaths more preventable than we think?
