Film details Russian corruption

Sergei Magnitsky died in a Russian prison in November 2009, after being repeatedly denied medical care. The young lawyer was imprisoned on less-than-comprehensible charges after investigating what his allies call the biggest tax fraud in Russian history.

Magnitsky worked at law firm Firestone Duncan on the case of Hermitage Capital, the fund owned by Bill Browder, once the largest portfolio investor in Russia. After discovering that several of their companies had been defrauded of $230 million, Magnitsky – rather than the alleged criminals – was arrested. Firestone Duncan and Hermitage have come together to release a series of videos on the dramatic ordeal, creating a concrete picture of corruption in Russia. Each video gets more unbelievable, more devastating. The latest was released today. You can find all three below, in reverse chronological order.
