‘Oppenheimer’ debuts in Japan as government announces plans to sell jets

The award-winning film “Oppenheimer” is finally on the big screen in Japan. It comes as Japan’s government announced plans to sell fighter jets to other countries. Host Carolyn Beeler speaks with Jennifer Coates, an expert in Japan studies at the University of Sheffield, about what she learned about ordinary Japanese reactions to the film, as well as how the government there is reconciling the sale of the jets with the country’s pacifist constitution.
