New York City urges migrants to find shelter elsewhere

Ninety thousand. That’s the number of migrants and asylum-seekers that have arrived in New York City since the Spring of 2022. Now, Mayor Eric Adams is asking those who are planning to head north to consider another city to settle in as there is “no guarantee the city will be able to provide shelter and services to new arrivals.” The World’s Maria Elena Romero reports the warning is leaving many confused about where to go next.
