Migrants are drowning in record numbers on the Tijuana-San Diego border

Desperation is driving more migrants in Mexico attempt to swim around the jetty to get to the San Diego County shore. Lifeguards on both sides of the border say they are seeing a jump in rescues and drownings. KPBS reporter Gustavo Solis says that a study by UC San Diego confirms a record high number of drownings.
