Displaced politicians from Abkhazia region run government-in-exile in Georgia

The semi-autonomous Abkhazia region broke away from the country of Georgia in the mid-1990s, with support from the Russian government. It became an independent country, sort of. And the population was cut in half when all the ethnic Georgians fled. Including many of the region’s leaders, who formed a government-in-exile in Georgia. But as Levi Bridges reports from Georgia, many former Abkhazians are now dissatisfied with this leadership, but the government says there’s no way of holding a fair election.
