Countries fear state-sponsored cyberwar

China’s state-sponsored hacking network known as China’s Volt Typhoon and Russia’s GRU are engaged in espionage operations, often infiltrating a company’s routers. The countries are also prepositioning for a future conflict, leaving spyware inside US systems that can be activated later. The World’s Carolyn Beeler spoke with Dina Temple-Raston, host of the podcast “Click Here,” produced by Recorded Future News, who’s at the Munich Cyber Security Conference.
