On Sunday, millions of people in the West African country of Senegal will vote in a presidential election that some thought might not happen. Last month, the country’s president unexpectedly postponed the election, throwing West Africa’s strongest democracy into uncertainty. After deadly public demonstrations, the election is back on track.
