Climate change an issue in Canada’s upcoming election

After a summer of climate change-exacerbated disasters in Canada, federal parties’ policies to reduce emissions have been spotlighted in the lead-up to Monday’s federal elections. Emma Jacobs reports from Montreal that, for the first time, all major parties have presented serious  plans to address climate change. Still, their platforms reflect the difficulty of drawing down carbon-intensive activities in this oil-producing nation.
