Nigerians call on government to lift Twitter ban

Nearly three months have passed since Nigeria’s government indefinitely suspended Twitter after the company deleted a tweet by the country’s president. As Africa’s most populous country, it’s no surprise that Nigerians make up a big portion of Twitter users there. While for many, Twitter might be just a source of entertainment, for others it’s a means of livelihood. The World’s Africa correspondent Halima Gikandi reports.
