Niger and the last pandemic holdouts

COVID-19 infections are up globally. They rose 12% this week, as a more transmissible delta variant burns through unvaccinated communities. But some parts of the world appear to remain mostly unscathed by the virus. The World’s Elana Gordon reports on one such country, Niger, a West African nation that has reported few COVID-19 infections.
