Famed woven bridge in Peru repaired 

For five centuries, the Q’eswachaka bridge has been connecting communities on both sides of the Apurimac River, in Peru’s Cusco region. But this is no ordinary bridge: It’s made of cables woven from grass, using techniques dating back centuries. During the pandemic, the bridge fell into disrepair but is now being fixed.
