‘Fattoush’ study says food prices soar in Lebanon 

A new study from the University of Beirut is being dubbed the “Fattoush Index.” The study measures the increase in prices for ingredients of the Middle Eastern salad due to the faltering Lebanese economy. The World’s Marco Werman spoke with Nasser Yassin, a professor of policy and planning at the American University of Beirut, about the “Fattoush Index.”
