Politicians and advocates worldwide push for bereavement leave after miscarriage

New Zealand recently made headlines when its Parliament approved a bill that requires employers to offer three days of bereavement leave for people who miscarry. Other countries are fighting for similar legislation, and are hoping to build off of New Zealand’s momentum. But the dialogue around this issue continues worldwide — even in countries that already have legal protections. The World’s Bianca Hillier reports.
