Afghan interpreters left behind 

When the US goes to war, it rarely fights alone. For years, US military and personnel have depended on Afghans to interpret languages and advise on local norms. These contracted Afghans often risk their lives like any soldier or Marine. But when troops return home, the Afghans stay behind — and can face deadly threats. The US created a visa program to help bring them to safety. But is it working? The World’s Monica Campbell reports.
