Pandemic curbs travel for Chinese Lunar New Year

China is successfully controlling the spread of COVID-19 infections. But people there aren’t taking chances this Chinese New Year. The country’s so-called Spring Festival travel season is considered the largest human migration in the world, but not this year. Travel is down by half, as millions of people decided to celebrate the holiday in place. The World’s Rebecca Kanthor talked with some of them.
