France says multiple companies hacked by Russia

France’s cybersecurity agency says “several French entities” have been breached in a hacking campaign. They say the GRU, Russia’s military intelligence agency, is behind the intrusions, and they date back to late 2017. Today, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov denied the charges, calling them “absurd.” Host Marco Werman speaks with Gerome Billois, a cybersecurity expert with the IT consulting firm Wavestone.
