Cellist performs in deserted Paris museums during France’s lockdown

At the beginning of the pandemic, people around the world took to their balconies and rooftops for a shared song. From singers to drummers to entire bands, the skies were filled with music. Cellist Camille Thomas took part. In the spring, she performed a series of concerts on her roof in Paris. Now, as France faces a surge in cases, Thomas is taking her COVID-19-safe performances to some much grander stages. The World’s Marco Werman speaks with Camille Thomas.
