Environmentalists criticize Bolsonaro’s climate plan

But it told the UN that it would not strengthen its goal for cutting carbon emissions in the near-term, by 2030. Experts and activists are critical of the Bolsonaro government’s plans, saying that they lack ambition and are a shameful response to the climate crisis.
