Schools across Kenya reopened this week after being closed for more than half a year due to the coronavirus. The last-minute reopening is a pleasant surprise for many teachers and students. But it also has everyone scrambling to adjust to a school year they thought was over. The World’s Halima Gikandi reports from Nairobi.
