In many parts of the world, bars, restaurants and other establishments collect information about customers who walk through their doors for contact-tracing purposes. In the UK, some companies that provide the digital tools that businesses use to collect COVID-19 contact-tracing information are being accused of selling it to insurance companies, marketers and other third parties.
