The United States has found itself in a diplomatic standoff with its allies in the United Nations security council over restoring sanctions on Iran. Despite already triggering the dispute mechanism in the deal, a first step toward reimposing sanctions, European members rejected Washington’s request to reimpose sanctions. Host Carol Hills speaks with Robert Malley, a former White House negotiator of the 2015 Iran nuclear deal and currently president of the International Crisis Group.
