The Austrian ski resort, Ischgl, became famous in March for being a coronavirus hot spot and a major source for infections that spread across Europe. Marco Werman speaks with virologist Dorothee von Laer, whose new study found that more than 42% of the town’s residents had COVID-19 antibodies — but few of them knew they had ever been infected with the novel coronavirus.
